Is this your community too?
sure is. it's pretty dead in
May I join you here?
Hi, my name is Anna and I live on the SE side of Indy near Raymond & Keystone. Haven't been on the diving scene as much since my 5 month old was born (kind of a pain to cart him around from dumpster to dumpster) but I did dive right up into my 9th month of pregnancy.
Some friends of mine were recently escorted out of Greenwood by the police for dumpster diving. The cop didn't care, he just had to go on the call (some a-hole had called the cops on their cell phone on them), and all the while the cop was running their plates, they kept asking the cop if they could go back to the dumpster and get stuff, and he said he didn't care and just looked the other way while they did it. But then he had to escort them out of Greenwood. It was pretty funny, and they did make a haul!

Re: May I join you here?
you're more than welcome to join. we haven't been out in quite awhile and the community has been idle for a long time.
we've found that most cops don't care, it's garbage after all. we got caught in castleton by security and he didn't care. just watched us to make sure we weren't vandalizing anything.
Hi Ana, am new here too and was wondering if you ever dived Downtown Indy? Thanks

Hello everyone, am new here and curious about diving for anything of reusable value. What ever I cannot use i plan to donate to a worthy cause, of course. I know how to work and fix computers- towers and laptops- and hope to find some for parts or use. Love to fix things and give them new life and am willing to go in a group if such a thing exists. Am needing some advice as to where to go but am thinking Downtown Indy might be a nice challenge. Thanks.
